I went downstairs at my Mum's this morning to re-pack my case and saw this brilliant rainbow being cast across her carpet by the colourful window in there. Photo for the day sorted.
Said goodbye to my Mum shortly after 11am, then drove her car over to my sister's, for her and my niece to drive me to the station. We got there super early, so had a nice time chatting away and killing time before the train came. Had a good journey, then got home to Tim mid-afternoon. So good to see him again!
We decided not to bother cooking and to go out for dinner instead - a lovely way to round off my holiday and Tim's weekend :
Some fun for a few minutes this evening (too cold outside to spend longer) with the lights coming from my neighbours' houses, one of their decorated plants and a zooming out lens. Two more in the Comments!

Looking through the branches of this old tree in our community garden I spotted a Christmas tree with lights in one of the buildings nearby. I am starting to see more of them now.

This was a little shop that I came across while at the Stable Market and just could not help but get the camera from In My Bag and take a shot...

Many thanks to all of you who have made contact, left comments and marked my photos as favourites. All this has added up to a very positive experience of an on-line Community in the four months since I have been active on Flickr.
I saw the moon as it appeared above a group of trees by the mall while I was waiting at the bus stop. The white lights are from the Shopping Mall area. It made a nice colour photo. Took the shot on my iPhone 7.
Been fun experimenting with these......find this shot interesting seeing so many geometric shapes.....!!......and played in photo shop thinking I might enhance the shapes......but liked the original the best.
Thanks for all your comments.....I've only used dishsoap so far......but think it would be fun trying bath bubbles too......really want to play with floating bubbles when it gets warmer.....!
...Voyage of Sindbad. Wasn't really curious about the attraction itself, I just love the details in the facades. Was especially happy about that string of lights!!

I said to the man who stood at the Gate of the Year,
"Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown."
And he replied, "Go out into the darkness, and put your hand into the hand of God.
That shall be to you better than light, and safer than a known way."

I have been wanting to try this shot for some time now and had my first attempt of it about three weeks, however prior to me taking that shot, I took a fall and unknown at the time I had a fractured on two of my ribs…unfortunately I did not get the shot as I could not stand still…
Three weeks later, I thought I would give it another go…I am actually standing on some sort of rock…I got someone to flash me…we then put the lens cap back on, placed an ice fountain between my fingers and set it a light, then removed the cap and repeated this process with my other hand and foot. As my foot was the last bit to hold the ice fountain I was able to leave it longer and get more of a downward flame/sparkle.
I then took the image into PS and used the content aware fill to take out the rock and used the clone tool to make a few adjustments on what was left over. There was some random sparks that came away from the ice fountains and I used the smudge tool to bring it back and tidy it up and to give it a glow effect around the flames coming out my hand.
I know the arc reactor missing but once my core strength comes back I shall try it again, might need to pop to toys r us to buy one, but for now I am going to say that I am on extremis…lol
Looks great when you press 'L'

Missed the Quornflake express tonight as it left at 6pm so had a return visit to a local red brick tunnel that I have shot on a couple of previous occasions. I have had some great sessions here in the past. One of the memorable ones being when AndWhyNot said that the moon was coming out. "That's the fecking sun coming up Andrew, I'm off home" I said.@ 4:20am !
This is called nausea as I had to spin the led orb, then the fire orb, locate the wool kit, whirl the sparks around the floor then fumble about for a stone that I'd placed as a marker before crafting a dome. Then try to locate my torch whilst staggering around in a dizzy sick drunkeness ! Bloody ridiculous and I still feel sick as I write this.
The top of the flame orb is a bit overexposed but I'm not going through all that again.
