I couldn't handhold the camera when taking our Christmas Tree lights, so I deliberately jiggled the camera to create an abstract
After the amazing "Winter Solstice Lantern Festival" I wandered back to Burrard Civic Marina where I parked and took some pictures of the always beautiful personal light displays.
Taken about a year and a half ago with natural lighting at Vegie Bar in Brunswick St. Just found it and remembered how much I loved the chance lighting.

It was an interesting experience. The place is on three levels, each one different.
I'd gone along with 'money in pocket' quite ready to make an evening to remember (one way or another)
In the event, I came out with the exact same cash that I'd gone in with: I guess I'm just not a gambling kind of bloke :(
The place is very nicely lit, though. And - if you find you aren't into roulette - at least there's a very nice restaurant just by the jetty for the ferry!

This is Teignmouth Pier and was from a session of phototaking with Paul (this is the one he chose).

Mom bought a cultivated tree this year, and when they brought it in it was so bushy, she thought she wouldn't be able to put any ornaments on it! After resting for close to 2 days, the branches finally fell a little. It was smaller than previous years, and many of her beautiful ornaments - collected or received as gifts through the years - seemed large for the tree at first ...there were way too many as well, so many remained packed, but this small tree still had cham, as always...
Lots of the same after an enjoyable evening in CMK at the firework display and fairground.
This evening started out with a meal with Shootaboot and ended with a combined Shootaboot/MKFlickrites fairground sortie.
It was loads of fun ;o))
