After putting watercolor randomly on paper, I have drawn what I was seeing.

This is an imaginary scene but done to suggest a typical point on any of the many lovely footpaths in Silverdale or The Yealands (Lancashire), part of the beautiful Arnside-Silverdale AONB which straddles the western Lancashire/Cumbria border. I then developed my sketch into the 'Home To Toast' painting in the next picture.

Drawn with a sharpened stick ( a wooden coffee-stirrer) dipped in Indian ink and a solid, thick blue pencil.

the plebicito road use to be in the past the course from the river Anmenano. The river was cover by a lava stream in the XVII Century . You can still "read" some signs of the city walls and fortification in this street.
