This beautiful event is dedicated to Lord Narasimha. Together with Sri Swami Vishwananda and devotees from all around the world we celebrated the appearance day of Lord Narasimha with Yagna and Abishekam for the Lord's fierce, Ugra form and His calm, Shanta form. All the celebrations were accompanied by lively kirtan.
The celebrations took place at different Bhakti Marga temples around the world, starting at Bhakti Marga's Headquarters Shree Peetha Nilaya in Germany where guruji performed the celebrations.

Construction for Roosevelt Collection, at 150 W Roosevelt Rd in Chicago. Will contain about 1000 housing units, a green space in the middle, and a movie theater. I most like the movie theater part. Many of our movie theaters are extremely inaccessible to transit users.
This is right next to Target and there's a little bit of space between the two structures, for the Metra lines that come south out of LaSalle St Station.
This complex is on two bus routes (12/Roosevelt and 24/Wentworth) and a block and a half away from three L lines. I'd say that's very accessible.
This should definitely increase traffic congestion around the South Loop but we have bike lanes on Roosevelt, going E-W, and Wabash to the east going N-S and Canal on the west going N-S. I think State St should get a bike lane, but only after it's repaved. That road is shit.
My friend and former neighbor Gayle collected these bits of detritus on her daily walks through the neighborhood. At one point in her life, Gayle hiked all of the volcanos here in the Pacific Northwest, a Mazamas member back in the forties. Gayle is now ninety and lives in an Alzheimers Unit about 40 minutes from here. When she was moved from her apartment, I decided to keep these as a bit of memory of her time in the neighborhood. They would have certainly ended up in the landfill. When I brought them down from the shelf I was going to "gussy them up". Calvin and Hobbes were fascinated with them so I ended up just using them the way they were so I could put them away. Looking at the images I took, I selected this one. It seemed to more accurately reflect that she had found these on her walks, picking them up in the bright sun as well as shadows and slightly askew.

Not quite sure why I have two book twos? I know they are being released again (so excited!!!) but I still kind of want to complete this set?
I'm hoping the new editions feature Naoko's cute ending notes. I can't read Japanese but love looking at those last pages in the Japanese copies I have.

This image belongs to a series of motor vehicle photographs that do not contain owners or people with the vehicles. Therefore, they do not fall completely within the requirement of my 'Family Car' collection.
I thought however that somebody might like to see the rejects.
They have not been cleaned or restored to the extent of the primary collections, and they will not be placed in any Flickr groups.
If any images receive sufficient 'hits', I will consider cleaning them up for a more public release.

I found those dolls on internet and stores like stockomani (DANG I LOVE IT) or toy store. But I admit I should stop myself because it's good to keep money safely.

Inspired by Meg, here is my collection in order of arrival (except for Tad and Agatha).
Oh and I also have a couple petites, I'm not sure where they are though. I think one may be hanging out in the kitchen. ;)
