On Monday 22nd February 2016, a special tea party was hosted by an tArdmhéara Críona Ní Dhálaigh at the Mansion House to mark the transfer by Valeo Foods of the archives of W & R Jacobs and the transfer of the Appleyard Collection by Douglas Appleyard to Dublin City Council.
The archives of W & R Jacob and Company, consisting of over 330 boxes, were acquired by Dublin City Library and Archive in 2012. Following a major cataloguing project they will now be opened for public access in the Reading Room of Dublin City Library and Archive at 139-144 Pearse Street, Dublin 2.

Got a new shelf system and moved my signature collection near my desk. It's practically already full!
And the latest additions, plus a CAM Lab monster (just for fun, since the lab was clearanced at Target), and the CAM Skeleton whom I think is still amazing. I feel like I might have to retire her once Skelita comes out... but maybe they'll just be beasties.

Vers la fin des années 1950, le marché des sportives à vocation familiale avait suffisamment évolué pour encourager Ferrari à présenter un modèle à quatre places. Dévoilée au cours de l'été 1960, la première Ferrari de cet type, la 250 GTE 2+2, prenait pour base la très réussie 250 GT. La 250 GTE servit à sont tour de base à son héritière la 330 GT 2+2, présentée en janvier 1964. Pininfarina était à nouveau crédité du style et proposait un avant à quatre phares qui flattait le goût du marché le plus important de Ferrari, les États-Unis. Le châssis tubulaire de la 330 GT avait un empattement plus long de 50 mm, ce qui augmentait le confort des passagers arrière. La suspension était indépendante à l'avant par triangles et ressorts hélicoïdaux, tandis qu'à l'arrière, on trouvait un essieu rigide à ressorts semi-elliptiques. Le système de freins à disque aux quatre roues était amélioré par le recours à un circuit hydraulique séparé pour l'avant et l'arrière.
D'une cylindrée de 3967 cm3, le V12 tout alliage à simple arbre à cames en tête délivrait plus de 300 ch, suffisants pour propulser la 330 GT à une vitesse maximale de 245 km/h, ce qui en faisait à sa présentation, la plus rapide des Ferrari de route.
D'abord équipée d'une boîte à quatre rapports plus overdrive, la 330 GT reçut par la suite une transmission à cinq rapports à la mi-1965 et, plus tard dans l'année, vit son avant à quatre phares remplacé par un à avant à deux phares, caractéristique de la série 2. Vitres électriques, roues en alliage et pédalier suspendu étaient les autres caractéristiques de la série 2. La 330 GT, une des préférées d'Enzo Ferrari, fut la première de ses voitures à être vendue à plus d'un millier d'unités.
Cette voiture portant le numéro de châssis 7059 est un rare modèle 'intérim', construit en avril 1965 qui arbore encore les quatre phares de la première série, mais a été doté de la boîte à cinq rapports et du pédalier suspendu de la série 2. On dénombre environ 125 de ces modèles intérim. Le rapport Massini, fourni avec la voiture, confirme la couleur original, argent (Argento 20265A) avec intérieur en cuir bleu foncé (Blue VM 3015), et atteste que son premier propriétaire était M. Michelangelo aux États-Unis. En 1990 la Ferrari appartenait à un certain Everett Anton Singer de Laurel Hollow, dans l'état de New York.
Complètement restaurée par la Carrozzeria Bottini, spécialiste Ferrari à Milan, vers 2000, elle a été utilisée sporadiquement depuis par son propriétaire sicilien de longue date et est décrite comme en excellent état général. La voiture est vendue avec le Libretto italien, Certificato di Proprieta et papiers ASI Targa Oro (en date de février 1998)
