I love Ranunculus, they are back, how they 'warm' up and lighten our home and hearts, how beautiful, layered and colourfully bright they are...
They must be dancing to some mad music only they can hear!
Hope this brings a bit of joy again, have a good day and thank you for your visit, so very much appreciated, Magda, (*_*)

One from my archives uploaded for Textural Tuesday....
These are rocks and pebbles on Vogestrand Beach, Swakopmund.
It always amazes me how colourful and varied they are, and I can never resist taking photos of them.
Have a great Tuesday, everyone.
My half-baked attempt at some studio lighting with a mix of incan bulbs, neutral tint LED, halogen, and high CRI LED. Sadly, I do not have the proper gear yet, for shooting this the right way.
Large size will give you some better detail:
Stagecoach Manchester: 19288 (MX08 GTY) an Alexander Dennis Enviro 400, painted in all blue heritage Magic Bus livery. It is captured here whilst parked up inside Stockport Garage and is now a driver training vehicle.

This was posted for Brick Peace but I thought I would make it public to show its little update.
I want to apologize for me saying I would be absent. I still will be, but we keep having showings on our current house and we can't get anything done! So until we actually can pack and get stuff ready, I'm going to be a bit active. ;-)
BTW Contest Winners I will be shipping Monday hopefully. It's been nuts. I apologize for the wait.
Waited so long to find one. So happy I did! (New addition to my collection; NFS.) Today's Doll of the Day (but more photos coming soon).
Here in Germany there is money to be made by scouring litter bins looking for discarded glass/plastic bottles and tin cans, as 99% of them have deposit value on them.
The deposits can range from 8 cents to 25 cents depending on the type of container.
During my breaks at motorway services in my truck I often see guys going around the huge dome shaped litter bins with torches & grab sticks fishing out the 'money'.
When I spotted this woman doing the rounds I turned around and beat her to the next bin, set up my shot and simply waited.
Thanks for taking the time to view my image. Your comments, faves & constructive criticism are greatly appreciated.

The hĂ´tel de la Marine (also known as the hĂ´tel du Garde-Meuble) is an historic building located on place de la Concorde in Paris, to the east of rue Royale. It was designed and built between 1757 and 1774 by the architect Ange-Jacques Gabriel, on the newly created square first called Place Louis XV. The identical building to its west, constructed at the same time, now houses the hĂ´tel de Crillon and the Automobile Club of France.
The HĂ´tel de la Marine was originally the home of the royal Garde-Meuble, the office managing the furnishing of all royal properties. Following the French Revolution it became the Ministry of the French Navy, which occupied it until 2015. It was entirely renovated between 2015 and 2021.
It now displays the restored 18th century apartments of Marc-Antoine Thierry de Ville-d'Avray, the King's Intendant of the Garde-Meuble, as well the salons and chambers later used by the French Navy.
A separate part displays the Al Thani Collection presenting international and inter-cultural works of art from the collection of Sheik Hamad bin Abdullah Al Thani.
Somehow I have acquired a typewriter collection, lol. From the left...a resin typewriter, slightly large for 1/6 but still acceptable; a pencil sharpener also shaped like a typewriter, good scale for 1/6, has real paper that says Barbie on it; vintage Tammy typewriter from the Private Secretary and School Daze sets; 1/12th typewriter.
The North Carolina Arboretum (434 acres (176 ha) is an arboretum and botanical garden located within the Bent Creek Experimental Forest of the Pisgah National Forest at 100 Frederick Law Olmsted Way, southwest of Asheville, North Carolina near the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is open daily except for Christmas Day. There is no admission charge, but some parking fees do apply. Although the idea for the arboretum stretches back to landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted in 1898, who wished to create an arboretum at the nearby Biltmore Estate, today's arboretum was established by the General Assembly relatively recently, in 1986, as a facility of the University of North Carolina. In 1989 the site was officially designated the North Carolina Arboretum. The arboretum is still under active development. It includes many hiking and bicycling trails, a bonsai collection, a holly garden, and a stream garden. Its tree collection includes a fine set of Metasequoias planted in 1950, and now said to be the tallest in the south (over 100 feet (30 m) in height). In 2016, a certification from Bee Campus USA recognized the arboretum's efforts to teach about and support pollinators.
