whoa, i seem to be finding collections in toto at the donation stores. this was in the SE branch of my favorite store. and this looks to be really collectable, because the bottom of each cow 'statuary' was the month and an identifying number. i think i counted 16 of them.... they must hate to see me coming along, rearranging their shelves for a better photo op ~grin~
First thought that popped into the old noggin when I found out the theme was..................... yep, you guessed it, Lego Minifigures, but I have other plans for those little guys n gals.
This collection of images is of part of my youngest daughters Kinder Egg toy collection. Currently on display in her bedroom collecting dust.
She's got quite a few toys collected from Kinder Eggs over the years and I have found a few good photographic subjects among them so I think Daddy will be borrowing them again.
Have a great week everyone and see you all in week 5.
BTW, my favourite of the above shots is the top right image, love these dancing dudes.
My sons have a pretty decent vintage Kenner collection going on. These figures aren't mine, they're totally theirs! Though I do sneak in a vintage Kenner custom here and there--props to anyone who can spot all of them ;)
Well, after spending a little over an hour comparing each Raygun and the different colors I have. I have finally concluded, I have a grand total of 101 Rayguns. (protos in the top left group)
I tried my hardest to take out ones I already multiples of, and there are such small differences, weather it be with speckles, or with out, or maybe trans or a mix of the color. I really believe I narrowed it down to all the different ones.
My apologies that I didn't take the time to set this up by color. It's was bad enough putting these in semi decent lines :P
I set a goal, in Mid October 2011, to one day try and accomplish getting 100 different Rayguns, and I can't state enough how elated I am, that a little over two years later I finally reached my goal.
Thank you Will and G.I.Brick, for being the main reasons for me getting to this amount!
top: Trans Green Chackaram
upper left: Trans green JFSR with green swirled in
upper right: Trans green JFSR
middle: two Trans green Rayguns
middle left: Sten
middle right lever action

lower right M3 Grease Gun
bottom: Golden gun
Special thanks to Badger who handed me all of these (except the HAC golden gun and gunmetal ray gun) after I bought some BA at Brickcon! he even gave me the JFSR with the bit of green in it for coming early thanks Badger your the best! and thanks to Will for making these protos!
NONE FOR TRADE
This is my collection of manual focus lenses, most of which I use regularly.
back row: Tair-3 300/4.5, Carl Zeiss 180/2.8, Pentacon 200/4, Vivitar Series 1 70-210/3.5, 3M-5CA 500/8 (mirror), Vivitar Series 1 90/2.5 Bokina (with 1:1 adapter), Hartblei Super Rotator 45/3.5 Tilt Shift.
Middle row: Samyang 85/1.4, Carl Zeiss 135/3.5, Nikon 105/4 micro, Arsat 35/2.8 Shift, Samyang 8/3.5 fisheye, Jupiter-9 85/2.
Front row: Helios 44-3 58/2, Carl Zeiss Flektogon 35/2.4, Helios 44-2 58/2, Nikon 50/1.2, Zenitar 16/2.8 fisheye, Nikon 55/3.5 micro, Vivitar 28/2.8 close focus.
I have collected these lens via eBay, charity shops, etc during the past 18 months. It all started with the Helios 44-2 58/2 which I bought for £15, it is a Russian copy of the Carl Zeiss Biotar 58/2.
Many of these lenses are better than their auto-focus counterparts, they really don't make them like this any more.
All lenses are used on the Canon 7D or Canon 5D Mkll.
Cameras for roll film size 620 , made in England . The model on the left was made from 1946-1953 ; the one on the right between 1953-1957 . Minor structural changes , more cosmetic changes including nomenclature .
This is almost my entire shoe collection. I'm still waiting for another 4 pairs of shoes to arrive on the mail.

Here's the majority of them... there's a few more...
Somehow they need to fit on one shelf of my "Holiday" cabinet.
I've been slowly constructing individual models of assorted vehicles from the Victorian Emergency Services, including the CFA, MFB, Vic Police and Ambulance Victoria. And designing more structures and vehicles of these and more services, so keep an eye out for further models to come on my flickr.
Please feel free to ask questions of designs, techniques, references, design flaws, improvements and anything else you have to say about my models.
There will continue to be a slow progression through these builds and uploads due to placements, work and additional components of my career pathway, while also my normal family life.

Most of my pinhole cameras. I have been leaving the take-up can taped to the camera, with a long leader sticking out the right side. Less taping when I'm ready for a new roll of film. more info about the Foosh.
I made the Altoids tin first - it was too fun to stop. The matchbox pinhole cameras are the easiest to make. I have four because I lent two to a local museum show, then made another to display "exploded" so people could see at a glance how they were made. Then I realized I wouldn't have any in the house for 2 months, so I had to make another one.

Here's a summary of info in the comments below:
My pinholes are around .2 mm, using this chart.
Scotch 235 tape is lightproof masking tape. Useful if you don't want any light leaks.
Some people do have success with electric tape - it doesn't work for me.
You can tear gaffer's tape (which I used in all the cameras above) into long strips - about 12 inches by 1 inch. Easier to wrap around between the canister and the matchbox.
This photo appears in the Camera Wiki entry for pinhole cameras - check out that page if you haven't seen it - lots of good info.

Sometimes one just needs to play and be a child. I have written and illustrated a book for Chloe and Ella called "where is baby Jesus". I don't know whether I told you the story last Xmas? Anyway to put things into context I decided to draw a map of Chloe and Ella's kingdom with all the landmarks which are important to them. Trust a child to put things into perspective when I showed it to Chloe and pointed to the swing I said 'what is that?' she said 'a handbag'. Out of the mouths of little children.
Have been collecting them since I was 12. Bit late to start really, but that's kinda when they came out. Now you can only find them secondhand.
I have quite a big collection of the boys version - Mighty Max. They're very cool too!! Very gruesome! I'll have to get them out too and take a pic of them!
You're welcome join me on Facebook for many more works!
