The former Digbeth Cold Storage building a Grade II-listed former storage depot in Digbeth, Birmingham. Built in 1899 by Ernest C. Bewlay, it provided goods for the local markets as well as distribution to other companies.
It was made up of 5 floors, and is split into different cold compartments, all encased in wood, with a cork-like insulation in the walls. Wooden ventilation ducts passed cold air throughout the building to maintain a constant temperature.
Salhia Real Estate (Kuwaiti Sovereign Fund) are currently constructing a new £100 million redevelopment of the site entitled the Beorma Quarter and designed by Digbeth based architects K4.
my camera went into the garage this week. I'm not sure when I'll get it back. It has given me a good opportunity to go back and take a look at those photos I have already taken and never did anything week in terms of processing. I used to never think about cropping photos, now its the first thing i think of when trying to improve upon a photo that may not say much in its original form. Some people call it cheating, I think its fun so screw off. This was a photo taken of our old cold storage facility in brooklyn. Everyone get on the green bandwagon, this movement is going off!
This vector is now on department shirts.
This is a close-up of the shoddy job done by the print service (Zazzle). The turnaround was amazing, but this was the end result. They're either using bowed screens or a sloppy multipass procedure that allows the screen to shift.
