Took advantage of the cold weather and calm winds last week to experiment with freezing bubbles.
Had to use a close up filter to get these pictures (the bubbles I was getting to last long enough to freeze were all really small).

It was very cold weather , we invited the Beautiful and sexy Taiwanese girl張雅筑 to a old department building to take outdoor portrait , pretty 張雅筑 got good figure , nice big top and long slim legs , and she weared sexy low top sport cloth that show her personal sexy style , very attractive and charming , thank張雅筑 she did her best model job inspite the cold weather
Yikes! It's too cold to be outside sketching this week. So I'm thumbing through my sketchbooks in search of unfinished sketches to ink and plop some color onto. That color is a bit arbitrary since some of these were penciled in three or more years ago... I don't recall what the original colors might have looked like.
With hardly any cold weather at all this year, it's still been brown/gray, but suddenly, lots of color springing forth! I love the greens.
A walk to the beach begins with frost on cars, little drops of melted frost, a misty haze and bright sun, all in this series of shots taken at Kirkley and Pakefield in south Lowestoft. Also, they are all taken with a prime lens - no zoom.

With the beautiful crisp, cold weather lately, I took a trip out to the Wheaton Valley area to test out some new toys, a Nikon D610 and a 16-35 f4 VR wide-angle zoom lens for landscapes. (I was impressed). Good thing I brought the telephoto equipment too. This cow moose and her calf were seen munching on willow bushes, their favourite food. Amazing that they can survive the brutal cold of Yukon winter on a diet of wood!
The cold weather has meant a larger number of birds than usual coming to the garden.
A less common visitor here is a wagtail who has been holding his own amongst the crowds of starlings.
