This is a cute little milk glass mug made by Federal Glass. It is in very good condition, no chips or cracks and the pattern is still bright and cheerful. It has the Federal Glass logo on the bottom. It is just over 3 inches tall by 4 inches wide (with handle)
ok, so this didn't turn out great. as you can see, there is already some tea on the floor - I tried it once before and I missed the focus totally. And was too lazy to clean up before the second shot. Plus the light was not helpful. I'll do better next time, I know I will... ok, I hope I will.
and - it seems that a regular tea mug can contain about 10 times more liquid than I imagined. silly me.
I ordered these for so many people (including myself) SOOO great! Made from recycled materials, dishwasher and microwave safe, awesome.

Some guy GAVE us all of these! There were over a hundred slates. He was redoing his own backyard and didn't want them. We talked to him one day while we were walking Phoebe down his alley and he told us to take them away if we wanted them.
Heeeh! Did we ever!
It took us three trips to get them to our house in our old Volvo wagon!
They've made great walkways and a nice sort of "patio" area under our dogwood tree where grass wouldn't grow.
All the old bricks are salvaged, too. We love to make use of things other people don't want.
The alleys provide us with a miriad of foundling treasures. Our house and yard are furnished with many of these wonderful and unexpected finds.
It is a new range of cups! Thank you to Jessica and Judith for your kind gifts (and Sian for getting them home!)
The idea of this "food awareness week" project came up while I was eating this sugary donut. I realized, I constantly break my diet and all my desperate attempts to lose wight is useless this way. Luckily, I am taking the Project 365 challenge this year and my group's weekly theme is "food photography" this week. So why not combine the two and start a mini project on my meals? The truth is a had already ate two donuts when I figured out my plan so this pic is just an evoke of my breakfast, but from now on, I will take pictures of everything that I plan to eat. :)
An innovative design product by Israeli ceramic artist Efrat Gommeh, the ‘lock cup’ dissuades office coworkers from using your cup because of the built-in drain hole which only you have the key or plug to use it! Gommeh was recently featured alongside ten other contemporary Israeli ceramicists making waves internationally at the Designboom Handle with Care exhibition in October 2007. A pair of vintage stoneware mugs signed Padilla.... These mugs are from the late 1970s or early 1980s.

Day 13 - January = Red
My coffee mug from work. The best mug I've ever owned (strangely nerdy thing to say I know!)
Please note that this picture is like the wording at the bottom of this mug...
"PANTONE Colour identification is solely for artistic purposes and not intended to be used for specification."
Well for three of us anyways. :)
In case you couldn't tell, Jessie is pissed off in this picture...arms folded and sour look on her face. Jane "yelled" at her. Okay, she didn't really yell at her. Jessie wanted to eat her breakfast in front of the TV and Jane told her she had to eat at the dining table. Jessie somehow translated that as Jane "yelling" at her. When she came over to the table to eat, she did not want to be seated next to Jane. She was adamant about sitting next to me. But I had my shot set up and I told her to sit next to Jane for the picture...hence the sour look. :D lol
Or rather, have you seen a mug like it?
I bought a set, including tea- and coffee- pots, milk jug etc etc but sadly, this is the last mug in the set and, as you can see, it's quite damaged!
I bought the set in Stalham at a charity shop too long ago to mention (!) and would love to find replacement mugs.
There's no name or code on the mug anywhere so it's purely guesswork, but I have to say, this and its kin have been favourite for me for around 20 years - coffee just doesn't taste the same in any other mug or cup!
