I'm not 100% sure on the ID. Here is one growing at the Hyatt Regency Resort in Newport Beach, California. This place has a surprisingly extensive collection of palms and interesting plants.

This palm was small when planted about 5 years ago in shade. It's now trunking, and has recovered from two winters in a row of significant leaf damage due to freezes and persistent cold
