Tried to start playing last year.....couldn't have imagined how difficult it would be.

Thanks Darryn for identifying the animal :)

I had to climb down into the ditch and cross the drainage stream to get up close to the clover. It was a test for my new knee.

My dad just got back from safari in South Africa. While he was there, he snapped this shot of a female lion. Be sure to look at the full version for great details!

Here's another picture of an elephant he took on a different safari (sorta NSFW).

Erm, just for the necklace/earring from previous photo.

I believe this is a flying termite. We had them flying around our backyard and crawling under planks earlier this fall.

Judith is one of life's lovely people.

We met in Leadenhall Market after the Olympic Marathon, where hundreds of people lined the streets to be a part of the final days event, there was a real happy, party buzz in the air.

Judith told me how she had been living in a bubble for the two weeks she had been volunteering as a Games Maker and so was unsure how the world outside the Olympic Park was perceiving the whole event.

She had decided to give away parts of her Games Maker uniform so that she could share the happiness.

I tried to capture Judith's warmth and a sense of the friendly glow of happiness that filled London's streets for two amazing weeks.

Thanks to Judith and all the other Games Makers for their part in showing London is a place to be proud of.
