I call it schriberglass! Just a hot glue soaked white cotton t-shirt rag, turned out to be very strong with the right amount of give to not snap off it it gets banged around.

I was lucky to have the fortune to try out new kinds of photography - model portraiture - this last weekend, and here are some results.

It's tough describing a face when it's only 1 inch in the painting!

A snail that I found with the little boy I babysit for. We kept him for a while and named him "gary" (like the snail in Spongebob)

Torrential rain today in the Northeast. Spent some time in the Lightroom archives. Took this last year in Windsor, VT. Will be there next month for the VT100 ultra marathon. Can't wait to see Stew, Jan, Skylar and Autumn and revel in the beauty that is Vermont.

There is a recreation/museum of pre-WW1 Ukraine in Kiev. The potter was showing a volunteer how to open a small vessel.
