At 2 am VFD received a call for a detached structure fire in the back alley between 13th and 14th ave just east of Knight st. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze.
Taken at the LA Zoo. It was standing about 10 feet away! They're not too shy about getting right up to the visitors.
Shot using the +4 screw on macro filter. I shot under household lighting with the 35-80 mm standard lens.
Despite using f15 the depth of field is still so small that the entire box end is not in focus.

This cake was for a 40th birthday. Leopard spots, glitter and feathers.
Its always a gamble when the customer doesn't really care what design you do so I'm hoping they like it.

I know a picture of a dragonfly was already taken for tthis topic but I couldn't help taking pictures of this one, and I think this creature shows the nature of art with its neat colors, its cool looking eyes, and wings.
