Hair clip includes a shard of broken saucer edged with polymer clay. I'm auctioning this to benefit the British Red Cross.

It is special and hand made.

Charles Willeford is best known for his series of novels featuring hardboiled detective Hoke Moseley. The first Hoke Moseley book, Miami Blues (1984), is considered one of its era's most influential works of crime fiction. Beside “The Woman Chaser,” film adaptations have been made of Willeford's “Cockfighter” and “Miami Blues.” According to crime novelist Lawrence Block, "Willeford wrote quirky books about quirky characters and seems to have done so with a magnificent disregard for what anyone else thought." Robert Bonfils was the art director and cover artist for the San Diego-based Hamling Organization during the sixties and seventies and, for a decade, he worked exclusively for them. He produced some of his best covers during this period. The books were published under imprints such as Nightstand Books, Leisure Books, Adult Books, Candid Readers, Companion Books and other lines within the Hamling group. Before then, he produced book covers for the Chicago-based Merit Books and Newsstand Library and Las Vegas’ Playtime Books. He retired from doing cover art in the mid seventies, but he remained active as a painter of fine art in San Diego. Bonfils covers are now incredibly popular and sought after by book collectors, particularly fans of what is called “good girl art” (or GGA).

I did install a new clip, but this is where I noticed a problem. My rivets are smaller than the holes, and when test-fitting the backing on a rim, I found that the clip wanted to move around, which loosened the rivets. My plan for fixing that is to bring this with me to my dad's in a couple weeks, and use his welder to tack 1/8" backup washers in place on the backing, which will basically make the holes smaller so the rivets will fit snug. So, I wasn't able to complete the clip repairs today, but let's continue with installing the backing...
These seem to be falling off a lot. I already found two that were hit and ruined. This one is quite nice. These have the new updated Ram logo. They also exist in silver, and in several larger versions for Ram 3500 and 4500 dually trucks. The clips are all good on this one. Hopefully these will keep up that trend, unlike the previous-gen dually caps that always break.

Yêu tụi mày lắm A1 của tao! Có nhiều lúc tụi mìg đụng chạm đến nhau,đứa này giận đứa kia rồy nhiều khy k thèm chơi với nhau Nhưg nhờ những lúc như v.tụi mìg mới hĩu đc nhau hơn…ai kũng có khuyết điểm màh đúng k ? Apologies for the uncontrolled child running in front of the camera but the somersault is caught in all its glory.

I sometimes use these small battery-powered clip LEDs, usually for backlighting. Each is about 2 1/2 inches long. They produce a blue tint and a somewhat diffused light.
When I want to project a color, I will tape glass beads to the front of the LED, such as the red and green ones shown here. The LEDs themselves are exactly the same; it's the glass bead that makes the difference.
