This isn't an original idea - but then are there many of these?
And it all looked so simple to set-up!
I had to glue the small paper-clip to a sheet of card and subsequently 'hide' the glue where it had oozed out! Balancing the second paperclip wasn't difficult as long as the smaller clip was well fixed down. After that, it was a case of waiting for the sun to shine, and shine long enough. For me, getting a sharp well-defined shadow with my desk lamps I found impossible, so I just had to wait for the sunshine!
Usually, my first attempt at anything is often the best but not in this case - the photo needed just a bit of something, so I added the small orange bead which I think just 'lifts' the picture.
All rather formal but it kept me inside busy, mentally occupied and relatively safe.

Assolutamente credibile, proprio perché non sembra prendersi troppo sul serio, l'inventore di tanti fortunatissimi programmi radio-televisivi, insisteva sulla bontà della birra a tavola, sul piacere di averla in casa per offrirla agli amici, sul consumo 12 mesi all'anno, sullo scarso tasso alcolico, sulla notevole digeribilità e sulla grandissima naturalità del prodotto.

Electric cable clips, taken for 'Saturday Self Challenge: "White"
Bit of an oops this week for SSC, took a whole load of photos of snow drops, then when I came to submit to SSC realised I'd forgotten the the challenge was for a +mainly+ white image, so had to hurriedly come up with another idea . . .
Union Pacific 9798 (former CNW 8694) pulls the INPOA 29 through Devils Slide, Utah on Aug. 30, 2024. I encountered this same locomotive leading the Denver Z, when it was fresh from a Wabtec C44AM rebuild on March 15, 2024.
Macro Mondays 'junk' theme.
I have no idea why, but I keep trigger clips from dog leads. Whenever a lead wears out or breaks, I carefully cut off the clip and toss it into a little dish along with all the others.
These are fairly small trigger clips and the widest part of the clips showing measures a fraction over 2 inches
It is one of the short clip of the moonset over the bridge tower this morning. The best part was with the ship went under the bridge and the moon at the same time and still can see the smoke out of the funnel ;) A lucky moment!

sorry for being mia and awful and busy and never taking pictures anymore so much sadness well hopefully I'll be getting back into it soon (I mean I did take and edit this today---eeeeep progress!!!!)
