😃Thanks for views, faves and comments 😃
This sign is here for a reason. People get blown around like rag dolls when the planes take off. My wonderful Flickr friend Sarda has kindly posted a few clips of aeroplanes taking off and landing here. These can be found after her comment. This will give you an indication of the care one should be taking!
Thanks for visiting.....
A small paperclip on top of a large paperclip.
My imagination wasn't great in picking the subject, these 2 clips sitting in my desk were the first things I found when i was looking for anything that I could balance on something else.
but now I quite like the finished picture.
MacroMondays theme is balance.

For 'Macro Mondays' theme of 'Yellow'.
Certainly had fun with this.
It's something I had wanted to try for some time and this week's challenge gave me both opportunity and excuse.
The lighting was a pain- to get some translucency in the three sheets of paper, the get the imprint of the other side of the clip showing through, and to capture the top edges of all three pieces of paper. But perhaps the most difficult aspect was trying to control the reflection off the clip onto the paper.
To say this took one or two attempts is an understatement. Am I satisfied? I have the feeling I've missed something somewhere but .......................

I found this church fascinating sitting between a bunch of coffee, clothes, antique glass bottle, and bakery shops.

Union Pacific 9798 (former CNW 8694) pulls the INPOA 29 through Devils Slide, Utah on Aug. 30, 2024. I encountered this same locomotive leading the Denver Z, when it was fresh from a Wabtec C44AM rebuild on March 15, 2024.
Macro Mondays 'junk' theme.
I have no idea why, but I keep trigger clips from dog leads. Whenever a lead wears out or breaks, I carefully cut off the clip and toss it into a little dish along with all the others.
These are fairly small trigger clips and the widest part of the clips showing measures a fraction over 2 inches
For this weeks Squared Circle I found a paper clip holder with a round opening and thought this would be interesting. The holder not only has a round opening but it is square. It also is clear so light can shine through it. I then used my ring flash for my light source which has a round opening. So I have a circle in a square in a circle in a square. The ring flash was turned on and placed upside down this allowed just a smaller amount of light in. After taking the photo I squared it and then rotated the finale shot 45 deg.
Thanks for taking the time to look at my photos, I welcome any feedback you might have good or bad this will help me to become a better photographer in the long run. Thanks in advance.
