This is the clip that was preventing the radio from moving forward more than an inch. This shot was taken up under the dash where the glovebox usually is. Eventually, I used a big, new slot screwdriver like a chisel at the base of the clip to break it and release the cable. That gave me enough slack to pull the radio forward and get at the CD jack.
