Two to celebrate the end of the school year: this one of my class jotter clip-board, hung up awaiting a new batch of classes in September.
I was on a training session for something fairly unconnected, and somebody mentioned this as an idea: make an A3 print of each of your class seating plans, and laminate them. Then, in class, it's easy to tick off the pupils to whom you have already bowled questions and to spot those who have tried to evade your notice; also to make quick notes as you wander around the class while they're working quietly on some exercise.
Yes, just once in a while, training days do come up with a good, practical, useful idea. Honest!

Clips from a recent wedding at a city and location that shall remain anonymous. We'll just say the groom is from Alabama and the bride is from S. Africa. Listen for the wonderful "ululating" or "illita" singing (Arabic "zagroota" or "zaghareed") that the congregation women unrestrainedly break into from time to time.
