In the early days of the Interstate Highway System this Autocar tractor and streamlined tanker trailer, in the finest of Flying A's livery, were likely the envy of road warriors.
Today they lead a quieter life, while the glory, and apparently the paint, belong to the "Foundation Bred" horses on a farm in Washington's Kittitas County.

Footsie paper clips macro possibly for Macro Mondays, the theme of which is PPEP, Pen, Pencils, Erasers, and Paper clips.
A mutilated Delta 727 fuselage on it's belly at Aviation Warehouse in El Mirage, CA, a Mojave Desert aircraft boneyard that services the film industry as well as recycles aircraft parts. Night, full moon, red-gelled strobe flash. 157 second exposure.

Captured with a manual Nikkor 50 mm ƒ1:1.2 on my Nikon Df, post processed in Lightroom using VSCO Film Pack.
Figured I might as well post my ATRT redesigns of the battlepack before people start stealing my ideas lol. A lot of the clips and pieces for the legs aren’t included in the BP but fuck it. They’re exactly identical except for one piece that’s the wrong color.

Taken using Sony Macro lens and a ring light attachment, laid out on a black paper background that was darkened in the final image to make the clips stand out more.

This slim Papermate ballpoint pen fits nicely in the rings, held there firmly by its clip. The photo was taken by me at Shere, near Guildford, of my wife Valerie; sadly she died in 2003.
