This work prompts a reflection on the intensity of spirituality that succeeds in overriding the body’s physicality through control of movement, rhythm and gesture. The perfomer, naked, balances for thirty minutes on a bicycle saddle, her feet suspended above the ground, slowly moving her arms and legs. The intensity of the light gradually causes the volume of the space to grow.

The cleaning station at Lighthouse bombie brings the mantas from far and wide. The little cleaners scurry about eating away any buildup of debris that impacts the mantas ability to operate efficiently. The cleaners get doordash and an endless supply of food. The water clarity was affected by strong winds and strong currents as the weather changed for the worse. The upside was almost no one was diving so I could focus on the action and seek compositions that are normally not possible without risking scaring the animals away.

Clingfish have a sucking disc on their underside with which they can anchor themselves to plants and other objects. Cleaner Clingfish are named for their habit of cleaning parasites from the skin of other larger fishes. These tiny fish are easy to approach and photograph, apparently confident their camouflage and tiny size will keep them from being spotted. They first came to my attention only this year, so the strategy obviously works. Now I know what I am looking for, suddenly I am seeing them everywhere. I have seen them cleaning Red Morwong, Eastern Talma, and even a Port Jackson Shark. On occasion they also attach to divers.
The Enforcers handed out pipe cleaners to keep us bus. It took about 0.2 seconds for the first pipe cleaner penis to be made. Being the first one, this is a pretty sad attempt. The quality and quantity both increased (as well as size).
