Over the weekend in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil hosts, for the first time, a stage of the Class 1 power boat championships. The two-man boats powered by two 900hp engines can reach speeds of over 270km/h, so it's no surprise that Class 1 is known as the "Formula 1 of Power Boats". As you can see from the photo, the boats literally take off!
