A few pages from the last week... including the pages I do on my teaching day. The fact that teacups are appearing on each of these pages is a sign that I am very busy... but I always make time to have a break and have a cuppa - these relaxing moments have been the only time that I can steal an opportunity for a sketch. I hate the expression "ME- time" but this is my time! And as I said to my class this week, there are so many things to explore when sketching my tea cups - getting my ellipses perfect (never do this!), or have fun with colour, or explore different materials (ink vs watercolour pencil lines) hard vs soft edges...and the list goes on and on!
