a Recently released csx CW40-9 sits in the NPBL Berkeley yard with a AC44 leading

This was really cool for me, i started railfanning when these guy were fading so I've never seen one, so to get a chance to see one of the reactive one come to me was really cool and was a first for me.

CP H20-03 crosses the Mississippi River and enters Hastings, MN with a large block of cars led by two GP22C-ECOs. July 2020

Part of what would be a three-way meet these two freights pass each other with a coal train just about to join the party. The zoom-pan is the hardest shot for me so I'm always happy when one turns out decently. It is a mix of both panning and zooming out a constant speed to match a moving target.

CP H20-09 sported an SD60 leader. The train needed to pick up 20 auto rack cars at Cottage Grove which resulted in a late departure after working in Hastings, MN. The train is seen dashing through the snow just west of Vermillion on the CP River Sub. February 2020

611 Fireman Cheri George waves to a friend of mine after the train finally crested the hill on the Sunday morning passenger train out of Manassas, Virginia.

The 611 was put to a big test with wet rails, frequently spinning the drivers, but conquered the hill.

A CP and a BNSF sit in NPBL Berkeley yard on a rainy day. I could never get a a good picture of these guys when they were around. they sat in the yard for over a week and i had 3 time to get good pictures but the lighting was never there. this was the best picture i got and i actually really like it.

Westbound auto racks with a FRED on the pilot.

The NPBL 5261 works the yard with CSX and NS power sitting next to the NPBL. The crew on the Belt line was super nice and even gave me a reverser from the 5261.

This is my G Scale (1:29) model that I've been working on. A few minor things are needed before i can call it done. The new high hood is 3D printed, the decals are from Microscale, and the chain is from Ozark Miniatures.

The GSF reflects the "Georgia Southern and Florida Railway", a subsidiary of NS.

The loco started out as a low-nose, short-hood-forward SD from USATrains.

NS 29G runs outside of Portlock and comes out onto the bend with a very short intermodal train. i climbed up a little wall to get some high on the train and ended up being right next to the window of the engine.
