An altered cigar box filled with goodies.
Part of a wonderful swap package I received. You can see the whole package here.
I had been looking for this one but this is my first find. After I noticed the price sticker in the box, $20 for a stick, I might know why they are a little scarce.
The stain went down beatuifully on the neck and somewhat less beautifully on the body. It looks a bit worn, which isn't a bad thing. I came up for a solution for the sound hole when i found out i couldn't cut cleanly through the body. We'll see how it all looks when it goes together.
Given as gift.
This box contains multicolored rice lights, as do all my cigar box assemblages. Unfortunately, I am not a good enough photographer to get a good shot with the lights on.

This one has been turned into storage for buttons, beads, charms, etc. These things used to be hidden away in one of those hardware store plastic drawer organizers for nails and screws, but I'd never think about them when they were there. This way, I can see what I have easier, and will be more likely to use it!
(sorry about the glare in the corner...)
+ Same angle and camera placement as the Holga photo. However, the pinhole optically pushes the scene further back. The images produced by the pinhole camera also has a certain dreamlike quality to them, which I enjoy.

I liked Day 32 so much (some of you did, too) that I decided to do a "Personal Theme Week" of photos in this style, starting today.
The only thing really lost in translation from the original is the beautiful harbor sunset on my computer screen, so be sure to look at starrgazr's actual picture. [Thanks, Tracy Lee.]
I took a picture of my shop part way through the project... basically because I thought it looked cool :)
