Cigar boxes decorated with bits from my fathers collection.

These deck screws feel nice and sturdy, but the more I think about all the tension there would be from steel strings, the more I think I might want to replace one with a proper lag bolt.

Mini cigar box, photo frame, & seed packets...

A collection of 1:12 scale minis I made from paper kits you can order from www.paperminis.com!

These kits come ready to cut out and glue together and have very good, clear graphics.

The painting is now mounted on a cigar box. I added a few paper people walking off the drawing.

The Great Mefiesto juggling cigar boxes. Tricks of balance, equilibristic manipulation and fire are also part of the act.

There was also a 6-foot Unicycle (unused as it would sink in the grass, fire eating and if you sit too near the front, audience participation. This performance was done at 21.00 last Friday night, on a cold, dark, Drogheda evening for the Oldbridge House open evening.

Homemade 4x5 pinhole camera using a wooden cigar box. The sliding lid was modified into a film holder. I used beer can aluminum and a sewing needle to make the pinhole. Focal length is 93mm, and the diameter of the pinhole is estimated to be 0.35mm. F-stop is approximately 265. Film stock is FPP Frankenstein 200. Exposure time was 9 seconds. Processed with D-76, and scanned with an Epson v850. I used Affinity Photo to remove some dust from the scanned image, but no adjustments were made to exposure, contrast etc.

My swap partner likes pin-up girls and I got the idea to make a little "theatre" out of the cigar box instead of a boring old purse. I used to make these when I was little with adding machine tape, pencils and jello boxes. :o)

Day one hundred and eighty six of my project 365. This is a picture of my Grandad's old Mertola cigar box filled with coins to be banked that I brought into town this morning. It was another hot and humid day and I had to pick up my brother from sixth-form anyway so I went in to do monetary errands at the same time :D There turned out to be fifty three pounds worth of coinage in this box :P In the afternoon I went with Kirsty to take Harry the dog out for a long walk over the viaduct in town, we took loads of photos there, it was absolutely stunning! (more to follow on my photostream!)

made this Jewelry box for my neices birthday. It was an old cigar box which I added the legs. Painted the box purple with purple glitter paint over the base coat. The legs I painted in purple and pink tie dye effect. I did the lid in a tie dye butterfly patterned fabric in purples, blues and pinks. With a maching tassel trim added around the whole box. and lined in purple felt with butterflies and girl power. I also added a pink heart I painted to match on the bottom with a birthday message for me neice.

Not a lot this week...just an old cigar box n' a few trinkets...

Here are the completed cases. The end caps are fastened to the leather strap with a snap on the other side. So the end opens and the flyrod is slid inside. Both of these cases are 57" long.

The bows are there because these are gifts... I wish I made myself one.

A couple of Fridays ago after dinner with Dennis and Charlotte, we strolled down SoCo and ended up in Big Top Candy Shop. Of course, I immediately thought of my favorite Aussie baker.

"Roots" musician, Justin Johnson, entertained the crowd with his musicianship on the opening night following area bluesman "Microwave Dave" Gallaher at the 10th annual Cigarbox Guitar Festival, Friday 30 May 2014, at Lowe Mill Village Arts Center, #Huntsville, #Alabama.

The festival continues through Saturday.

A little more than the nickel cigar. This is part of the displays in the Iowa Gold Star Military Museum at Camp Dodge. The museum is located close to Des Moines.

According to many Historians screwdrivers were invented in a 15th century and as we a made transition to 21st century you find them in every toolbox commonly.

But is a request for one hundred sheets for a fucking cigarbox hipster banjolele with about £4 of bits on it.

Made this a while back, sounds pretty good !

Added the nice "island" scene as well....
