I enjoy participating in Macro Mondays challenges each week. Usually it takes a while to find a subject; sometimes I don't succeed.
But this week for 'corner' I have too many ideas.

My entries always need much processing, including a disproportionate amount to ensure that the macro fits within a strict size.
sometimes I am confused to decide what to choose, much like what to wear and look trendy (which I suck at basically) - sometimes what mood to put myself into just confuses me enough to sit down and ponder and hence the "random thoughts" :)

This is the side of a kindergarden care center and their choice of color and trim really caught my attention.
Iris 'Darcy's Choice' is one of my favorites. It came as a freebie with an order from Schreiners, whose catalogue incites me to order more iris than I have space for - but that doesn't seem to stop me ... At any rate, I love this bi-tone for its perfect form, lovely ruffles, and striking colors.

Purple-crowned Lorikeet (Parvipsitta porphyrocephala) juvenile
Sorry to be posting so many images of the young Lorikeets, but I had a lot of fun photographing them on Friday.
I love this one's expression as it looked to choose which flower to dine on next.
Burnett Falls is near the town of Sechelt and on this day, was a torrent of pouring water. In this case, a slower camera shutter speed illustrates the flow and pretty much what our eyes see.
There are very few people visiting the area today, but a few attempt to descend to the bottom. However, after slipping on the extremely steep hill, each turn back, deciding caution is the better choice.
