Happy Bench(es) Monday! I saw this display of benches during one of my multiple trips to our local big box home store and thought it worthy of a Monday HBM post. Hope you like it and have a terrific week!

Purple-crowned Lorikeet (Parvipsitta porphyrocephala) juvenile
Sorry to be posting so many images of the young Lorikeets, but I had a lot of fun photographing them on Friday.
I love this one's expression as it looked to choose which flower to dine on next.
I had a rare outing a few days back and managed a quick visit to Lake MacIntyre reserve near Millicent.
The title refers to one of those choices that you are often faced with. Without going into too much detail, I was in desperate need of using 'the facilities'. Nature was calling very loudly. But, as I got out of the car, I saw the flash of colour up in the trees and saw this beautiful rosella posing perfectly on a gnarly old gum tree. So, the choice had to be made between a badly needed comfort stop, and a bird photo. Thankfully, the camera was close at hand and I decided on the bird shot. Just as well, as it took off immediately after I took the shot. I see these colourful guys so rarely, I just had to grab it while I could.
This little Red-breasted Nuthatch is close to making a decision on which item of the bird seed is its favourite.

The mode dial at the top of my camera measures .75 inches across. HMM, everyone.
This was an other image that I created for Crazy Tuesday.....
I had to make a choice which one to use.... I really liked this I hope you do as well....

Here is one my Quokka friends at the zoo. The ground of their enclosure is covered with autumn leaves at the moment which makes a nice entertainment for the Quokkas. Leaves are part of their diet but they choose carefully which ones they want to eat. Apparently they have a preference for the juicy yellow leaves whereas the dry brown ones are ignored. :)
