The great tits do seem to bully the blue tits and the long-tailed tits quite a bit. At times they seem more concerned about chasing other birds than actually eating anything themselves.

Mr. Bluebird with another example of the variety of food he brought home. Junior ate insects, worms, grubs, spiders and larvae of all kinds. Mr. Bluebird was a good provider and interesting to watch. I do appreciate your visits, faves and comments.

Here is one my Quokka friends at the zoo. The ground of their enclosure is covered with autumn leaves at the moment which makes a nice entertainment for the Quokkas. Leaves are part of their diet but they choose carefully which ones they want to eat. Apparently they have a preference for the juicy yellow leaves whereas the dry brown ones are ignored. :)
