This Chevy was my friend, John's. Was a very pretty car - baby blue bottom and white top. He owned it in '59 & '60. I'm sorry he's no longer with us.

Mid-Thirties Chevy coupe hot rod at the Back to the Fifties car show. And check out the engine...an inline six cylinder. Don't see that too often.

Almost looks real I think. Really this is a 1/24 scale model of the Nomad that I placed in front of this beautiful old home. Then just played with the depth of the model against the actual home. This was a lot of fun.

We took a mountain tour in our 1949 Chevy and some of this looks familier. We had a roof rack, a canvas bag on the front bumper for extra radiator water, and considered having the tube evaporating water cooling device. We had no running board with a luggage rack and no sun visor. The car next to the Chevy is a 1948 Chrysler Woodie that also has a roof rack. I took the photo at the 2019 Philomath Classic Car Show.

Spotted at an airshow at Sivrihisar, this lady was a pure beauty.

Happy Truck Thursday! I found this "Farm Use", circa 1979, Chevy Bruin in Dyke, Virginia. Looks to be in good shape, but not a daily driver.

For those not familiar with "Farm Use" plates. They can be used in place of regular license plates in Virginia as long as they are used in the performance of the farm's business.
