This 1947 Chevy turned 70 this year - It sets year 'round on the east side of US 89 just south of Scenic Byway 12 - Panguich, Utah
I spotted this old Chevy while walking around the neighborhood. It's a '56 I think. Several texture layers were added in Photoshop.
This Generation 2 Chevy II was offered for model years 1966 & 1967 only. It is perhaps the most coveted of all Nova styles.

I'm recently back from the Adirondacks where a friend, her sister and I spent time in my friend's cabin on a small lake deep in the woods.
One day we went to a small city that's not known for high incomes, and a fair number of residents live below the poverty line.
I had a high school classmate who became a nun and this is where she lived and worked for decades and decades. As that time passed the number of women and men who entered vocational life dwindled. There were no longer any priests in permanent residence, and only 2 nuns...my classmate and an even older nun. They lived meagerly, ran the parish and tried to meet the needs of those who came for counsel and comfort. My classmate's life was one of devoted service to them.
When she turned 70, she retired not only from working, but she left the sisterhood too. Her work was done.
She later married. I last saw her about 12 years ago. I hope she's healthy and if anyone deserves love and companionship, it's her.
I don't know if anyone still lives in this house, and Rick (Gulden) I'm going to leave it to you to tell us if the car is a Chevy.
I doubt the plaque was put there by the city, so it may be the resident who decided to name this short street after their car.

Class winning 1931 Chrysler Imperial Dual-Cowl Phaeton by LeBaron, with all the bells, whistles and Bling to set you well apart from the hoi-paloi in their Chevys and Fords.
Introduced for the 1931 model year, the Chrysler Series CG Imperial was larger, more powerful and more luxurious than its predecessor. Styled by Al Leamy, the Imperial CG borrowed heavily from the Leamy-designed Cord L-29, and featured a v-shaped radiator, an elongated hood, flowing fenders and a split windshield with a steeper rake than the Cord. Amenities included passenger sun visors, adjustable seats, an adjustable steering column, hydraulic brakes, vibration-dampening rubber engine mounts, rust-proofed body and fenders, and laminated safety glass.
Starting at 'only' $3,575 for a LeBaron dual-cowl phaeton, full-custom options hiked the price significantly higher. Given the state of the U.S. economy in 1931, it’s not surprising that a mere 85 LeBaron dual-cowl phaetons were ordered by customers.
Power for all CG Imperials came from a new 384.83-cu.in. straight-eight L-head engine, rated at 125 horsepower and mated to a four-speed manual transmission. The dash from 0 to 60 MPH took in the neighborhood of 20 seconds, and the plus-size Imperial, which measured 17 feet from stem to stern, was reportedly capable of hitting 96 MPH.
