After successful swimming lessons and healthy checkups, three male otter pups are now on exhibit at Oakland Zoo. They were born to Ginger, river otter, on the morning of February 24, 2013 at Oakland Zoo. Each baby weighed approximately 0.3 pounds at birth or about 136 grams. They now weigh around 4.5 pounds. The pups are named Kohana (swift), Hinto (blue), and Shilah (brother).

Nancy had a checkup today. Her wound looked more red than I liked. The vet said everything's going well, it's even taking on some fur, which is a good sign. But I could give her some Polysporin because it does seem a bit red.

Healing Hands Foundation conducted free health checkup drive at Kasturba Gandhi Vasahat, Aundh, Pune. The camp was organised in collaboration with Vriddhamitra.
On behalf of Healing Hands Foundation, PUNE, Dr. Sachin Dongre and Dr. Neha Nanandane examined the patients.Tejashree Khalate and Dhanashree Rohankar counseled them and helped them with free medicines.Aashana Tamboli helped with registration. Anand Misal arranged the setup. Camp organiser Anita Said organised the camp under the guidance of Dr. Ashwin Porwal(Founder-President, HHF), Dr. Snehal Porwal (Founder-Secretary, HHF), and Madhura Bhate(NGO coordinator, HHF).
Total 82 patients benefitted through the drive.

Before most Goddard spacecraft components are cleared for launch, they go through final checkups in one of many of the center's clean room facilities. The largest, the High Bay Clean Room, can accommodate two space shuttle payloads at one time.
The High Bay Clean Room, often called the world's largest, prevents dirt, dust and other contaminants from damaging spacecraft components, especially sensitive and carefully calibrated instruments. For example, unlike personal digital cameras, a smudge or speck of dust on the lens of a space telescope is extremely difficult -- if not impossible -- to clean, especially once the spacecraft reaches orbit a few hundred miles up.
A robust ventilation system and an entire wall of air filters help protect against these contaminants. The clean room ventilation system circulates almost one million cubic feet of air every minute through 9,000 square feet of HEPA filters located along one wall. The filters are not your typical off-the-shelf HEPA variety from the local home improvement store. These are specially designed to last several decades.

I used the Mini Cell Theory stencil from Crafter’s Workshop (which I purchased at the Scrapping Turtle Store) along with some Glimmer Mist to create the background. I lifted Jenessa’s LO but changed it up a bit. The picture is of my Grandsons Noah and Garrett at the doctor’s office last October. I just LOVE the looks on their faces!

Mom takes the escalator, on her way to a specialist clinic to visit the cardiologist at Changi General Hospital. The checkup is to determine if her heart is strong enough to undergo operation for the removal of her tumor. A 14-cm tumor was discovered when she complained of bloatness some 2-weeks ago. At this stage, doctors are still unable to determine if the tumour is beneign or cancerous. Tests, labs and analysis are weekly affairs before operation gets underway early January 2010.

Well, after leaving Nar Shaddaa I got sent to a medical frigate for some kinda regular checkup, to see how my health was doing. When the docs were checking my over they found a large piece of shrapnel in my lower back. I dunno how it got there, probably something just slipped in under my armor during battle and I didn't notice it. Well, anyways, they kept me there for a while, and I missed all of Cularin and the first half of the invasion of Gand. From what some of the others told me, I should be glad to have missed them. While I was in hospital I realized that my armor was a little old, so I talked to some of the guys in the armory and they fixed me up. Got some scout gear, a jetpack, and some new type of blaster. I didn't get any new squad mates while I was in hospital, but the brass sent word that I'd be meeting a few on the surface. hell, I couldn't care less, all I want to do is get back in the fight, subordinates of not. As I write this, the gunships are coming in, and I guess I have to go. I'm back in action, bitches, and it's time to roll.
