. . . Dragon. I had a dental checkup today and sitting in the corner was this cute dragon. He helps teach young kids how to brush their teeth. The hygenist helped out by holding the brush for me. Smile Pretty

This evening was Forrest's annual checkup along with a couple of the required shots. The kids joined us, just to see how well Forrest did with his round of shots. I'm pleased to say he handled most of it quite well and really only put up a bit of a fuss when the vet needed to give him a quick squirt up the nose. Otherwise, he's the perfect picture of health.
Ortho checkup today. I'm now week 13/20, he said most people end up doing a few more trays looking for perfection but right now I'd be happy with the way they are. we will see where I'm at in 7 more weeks.

Yesterday, I was at the VA hospital for my semi-annual fasting lab and checkup. Today, I was back at the VA for my yearly asthma/allergy checkup. The asthma/allergy clinic moved and I was literally in the same clinic I was in yesterday. Then, I was in the exact same exam room. I have to go back on Monday for an unrelated lady-parts checkup and it turns out- it'll be in the same clinic. (the VA is remodeling again). So, in less than a week's time, I will have been at the VA hospital three times, all three times in the same clinic. For vastly different reasons.
Anyway, here's another photo of my tattoo out in the real world. Every person who sees it thinks it is awesome and when they hear the story of how I got it, they think my kids are even more awesome. And they are right, on both counts.

Jim met me @ the doctor's office for a checkup after my surgery last June. It's been almost 3 months. I am doing well. She said I am doing great and wants to see me in December.
After the doctor visit, Jim took me to Chili's for supper. I love Chili's. It rained on us a lot while we were driving from her office to the restaurant. We got soaked walking to and from our cars. Fortunately, it had stopped raining when we left, and it has not rained at our house.
We heard that it has rained about 20 inches in the Atlanta-North Georgia area. That's not a good thing. I pray it stops soon.

A visit to the cardiologist at Changi General Hospital. The checkup is to determine if Mom's heart is strong enough to undergo operation for the removal of her tumor. A 14-cm tumor was discovered when she complained of bloatness some 2-weeks ago. At this stage, doctors are still unable to determine if the tumour is beneign or cancerous. Tests, labs and analysis are weekly affairs before operation gets underway early January 2010.
After successful swimming lessons and healthy checkups, three male otter pups are now on exhibit at Oakland Zoo. They were born to Ginger, river otter, on the morning of February 24, 2013 at Oakland Zoo. Each baby weighed approximately 0.3 pounds at birth or about 136 grams. They now weigh around 4.5 pounds. The pups are named Kohana (swift), Hinto (blue), and Shilah (brother).

I think some things are measured in metric and some in English units so they are more accurate with fewer decimal points... Or people are nuts.
After a checkup, we usually go out for lunch. She likes this little deli near Dr. Kater’s office. She’s a slow and picky eater. At her facility, she’ll let food sit and then refuse to eat it because it’s cold. She’s lost the ability to link cause and effect. When we go out to lunch, I remind her to keep eating. On good days I can get most of a meal into her.
