in Chattogram , Bangladesh on November 02, 2021.On this day, Christians come to the graveyard and pray for the departed souls of their loved ones.All Soul's Day is a Roman Catholic day of remembrance for friends and loved ones who have passed away. This comes from the ancient Pagan Festival of the Dead, which celebrated the Pagan belief that the souls of the dead would return for a meal with the family.

Patenga Sea Beach is one of the most beautiful sea beaches in Chittagong Bangladesh After Cox's-bazar sea beach. It is good place to enjoy some moments which located close to the city. There is huge infrastructure going on with the beach. A significant improvement has been made. Nice place to visit in the afternoon.It’s a very scenic beach at the end of Chattogram city.

A peak trading season for dried fish and marine catches has brought immense hustle and bustle to Chattogram's traditional fish landing station (Fishery Ghat). Every day, tons of fish are unloaded from trawlers and boats, packed into large sacks, and loaded onto trucks for distribution across the country. However, behind this booming economic activity, the surrounding environment and the banks of the Karnaphuli River are facing a severe threat.
Indigenous people struggle for water in their daily lives during the dry season. They collect water through pipes from distant hills by damming the springs.
The inhabitants of the Hill Tracts are mostly tribal. Life of the tribal people is extremely fascinating. Majority of them are Buddhists and the rest are Hindus, Christians and Animists. Despite the bondage of religion, elements of primitiveness are strongly displayed in their rites, rituals and everyday life. The tribal families are matriarchal. The women-folk are more hardworking than the males and they are the main productive force.
The tribal people are extremely self-reliant, they grow their own food, their girls weave their own clothes and generally speaking, they live a simple life. Each tribe has its own dialect, distinctive dress and rites and rituals. The common feature is their way of life, which still speaks of their main occupation.
Tribal women are very skillful in making beautiful handicrafts. Tribal people are generally peace loving, honest and hospitable.

Amongst the streets of Chittagong, through the sweatshops and alleyways a team of men chopped, cooked, stirred and packed cauldrons of hot food for lunches. It smelled amazing.

Jabbarer Boli Khela (জব্বারের বলী খেলা) is a century-old traditional wrestling competition held every year in Chattogram (Chittagong), Bangladesh. It was started in 1909 by a local businessman and social worker named Abdul Jabbar Sowdagar.
At that time, the British colonial rule was dominant, and Abdul Jabbar wanted to encourage physical fitness and unity among the youth of Chattogram to resist colonial oppression. Inspired by the spirit of self-reliance and empowerment, he introduced this wrestling competition.
The first Boli Khela was organized at Laldighi Maidan (the famous red pond field) during the Bengali New Year (Pohela Boishakh) festivities. Over time, it became a major cultural event, blending sports, tradition, and a vibrant Boishakhi Mela (fair) — turning the whole area into a grand celebration of Chattogram’s spirit.
The word "Boli" (বলী) means "wrestler" and "Khela" (খেলা) means "game" or "sport." Thus, Boli Khela literally translates to "Wrestlers' Game."
Today, Jabbarer Boli Khela is not just about physical strength — it's a living symbol of Chattogram’s pride, bravery, and enduring cultural heritage. Wrestlers (Bolira) from all over the region come to compete, and thousands of spectators gather to cheer, celebrate, and relive the history.
