Exhibition called "Changing Our Footprint", made by Henning Larsen Architects who also designed the building ("World of Volvo").
One part of the building "World of Volvo" is a museum - the Volvo history of cars, trucks and buses since the very first Volvo left the factory in Gothenburg in 1927. Another part is a big exhibition about the present and the future, with funny activities in connection with Volvo, to do for the whole family. There is also a restaurant and a café. Built: 2024. While not the greatest shot from any technical standpoint, I love this shot because the snow-capped peak behind Keaton is Unnecessary Mountain. Unnecessary is where we spent Day 2 of last July's backpacking trip. A big mass of snow provided Keaton with endless opportunity to play that hot summer day - we even had a snowball fight! And we tented out overlooking where we were paddling on this day, Howe Sound.

A group of youths, several climate change officers, nearby communities and
some very naughty but active children came together on 9/10/10 (10/10/10 is
a holy day for most Solomon Islanders) to do a little cleaning up of the
Mataniko River bank. We rid the site of garbage and we also plan to sow
flowers purely inorder to beautify the area. In addition, given that the
area is quite vast and will require much effort, a later date is set to
launch a huge clean-up action activity there.
The attached pictures illustrate the small but energetic and lively
individuals. Please keep in mind that unfortunately most Solomon Islanders
are camera shy, so including everybody in the pictures was quite a
challenge...:))

Joyful Rising- We are here because we share One Earth, One Sky, One
Future and stand in solidarity with those who who in their hearts in
in their personal lives that climate change is real.
Here's a picture I drew of Changed Daily from "The Secret Show", a cartoon I used to watch when I was a kid. I haven't seen it in a long time, but I have rather fond memories of it and decided to draw my favourite character.
I've always found Changed Daily an interesting character, with his constantly changing name and catchphrase "For reasons of security, my name is changed daily."
As I do with all my other drawings, this was initially drawn by hand in pencil and then outlined in black fineliner pen. After that I scanned it to my computer and coloured it in digitally.

A gothic font change on the side of an old air conditioner. Together with "Live Free," I think I'm going to start a series of stickers or writings found on walls and various other building parts. I saw "Viva La Revolucion" while walking around, too, but there was no cool way to capture it.
Have they found a new use for the Old Hall, looks as though they are changing it to an Open Prison. Perhaps they are going to lock some of the Councillors up in here.
