The Changing of the Guard at the Parliament Building at Syntagma Square in Athens worth watching if you find yourself in the area at 11am each morning. The "big" show is on Sundays at 11, when more guards participate and the ceremony is more complex

This No Stopping sign has a new message. I wonder if it has anything to do with the primary school across the road?
San Franciscans gathered near the Golden Gate bridge today and made a giant
blue wave that was photographed by aerial photographer Daniel Dancer. We
made the wave to raise awareness about the fact that parts of San Francisco
will be under water due to by sea level rise is we do not act now! Photo by

A carbon fee and dividend is advocated by the Citizens’ Climate Lobby as a simple yet effective and fair policy to price carbon pollution and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. People with modest to low incomes who generally consume less will receive a dividend cheque to protect them from rising energy costs.
Thank you.

Bicycle+ NGO and group of environmental activists, Yerevan, Armenia – raising
awareness on climate change and promoting alternative ways of transportation
A group of environmental activists together with Bicycle+NGO organized a Green
Bike Tour on October 10, 2010. About 40 cyclists gathered in front of
Matenadaran, the institute of ancient manuscripts, to start their route and to
disseminate information on climate change issues and to demonstrate the
necessity for alternative modes of transportation on the main streets of
Yerevan. The picture in shape of 350 formed with bicycles became so famous that
was used by CNN

Then cyclists followed an eco-riksha (made by cyclist Samvel Hovhannisyan) to
raise eco-consciousness of people in the center of Yerevan, Armenia.

Saw these wheels laying out in a field. Decided the Fuax sunset would be a nice background. Image came out a little to dark. tried to make a balance by bringing out the shadows, boosting the contrast, and saturation, almost to the max. Just with windows picture editor. The top part has to much noise for my liking but it's still a good photo.
Walking the congested streets of Lagos. The event raised public awareness
about sea level rise, flooding, and the present un-sustainable mode of
transportation which is a threat to our very survival caused by fossil fuel
and climate change.
