The Cell Necklace is a 'one of a kind' necklace from the "Cells" series.
This piece is completely handmade in silver, paper and resin.
I started making the exterior structure of the piece in silver. Inside I used a manual paper covered with a translucent resin that gives profundity and brightness to the paper details.
Finally I completed the piece with a sterling silver chain and gave the acabments with a sand paper.
Each of the cell doors at Eastern State had two little roller doodads at the top of each of the heavy doors. The wooden doors rolled open, then beyond 22 inches of concrete, there was a lattice steel door.
