"Du bist die Revolution, gegen den Strom"

This cell is made up to look like one of the original cells circa 1860. The room was just 1.2m wide and just a touch over 2m long. Good for short people like me, but it would be rough sailing if you were tall!

I processed the original colour image using Silver Efex Pro for the B&W conversion. I enhanced the texture using the structure slider, then lightened up the shadows under the bed and brought down a couple of hot spots using selective adjustments.

loved the tiny flip flop attached to andrea's cell phone.

it worth it a larger view.

The original design of the building was for seven one-story cell blocks, but by the time cell block three was completed, it was already over capacity. From then on, all the other cell blocks were two floors. Toward the end, cell blocks 14 and 15 were hastily built due to overcrowding. They were built and designed by prisoners. Cell block 15 was for the worst prisoners, and the guards were gated off.

Doyle et al. have designed a new technique for micropatterning proteins onto coverslips to determine how topography dictates migration. In doing so they found that migration along a straight line is very similar to 3D migration. (JCB 184(4) TOC1)

Cell resuscitation is the first step in cell culture, and failure to resuscitate will directly affect the cell state. In this video,we provide a step-by-step guide and listed the points needin gattention,to help you increase your success rate.

SIAT® DC-T cell proliferation assay uses Flow Cytometry to detect T cell proliferation after co-culture with loaded DCs, which is extremely sensitive and accurate. Specifically, T cells are labeled with 5,6-carboxyfluorescein diacetate succinimidyl ester (CFSE) dye. Those that proliferate in response to peptide antigen presented by DCs show a CFSE dye dilution, which can be measured directly by Flow Cytometry. In combination with detection of cell surface markers, the percentage of proliferating CD4+ cells, as well as the detailed phenotype of T cell responses are all monitored. Below is a brief description of our workflow for SIAT® DC-T cell proliferation assay service.
