This adapter allows for afocal photography with point-and-shoot digital camera. Not the best solution for astrophotography, but fast and cheap.

Old faithful...a Celestron 8 inch schmitt-cassegrain reflector telescope. I think we bought this about 28 years ago! We have seen some cool stuff with it...red spot on Jupiter, rings of Saturn, moons of Jupiter and saturn, our Moon, comets, galaxies, messier objects, etc...
