Fortuitous that the Chinese maker made this finder with a 3/4th degree error in the light path. (Polaris is 3/4 degree from pole) Error seems to be in erecting roof prism. This light path deviation has no effect on intended use as a finder.

At present, Polaris is 0.7° (0.6889°) away from the pole of rotation(NCP) (1.4 times the Moon disc) and hence revolves around the pole in a small circle 1½° in diameter.

Trivia ----
" Epoch J2000
Right ascension 02h 31m 48.7s
Declination +89° 15′ 51″ "
How far is it from the pole NOW? (not in 2000)
.
when Columbus sailed the ocean blue, Polaris was 3.5 degrees from the NCP.
.
"Rigtht now, the NCP is close to the star Polaris. It is about 1-1/2 full moon widths away, and slowly drawing closer until the year 2100. " ... But how close is it NOW?

Close up of the crater Clavius on Day 9 of the Lunar cycle.
The crater measures 225km wide and is 3.5km at its deepest point.
The floor of the crater forms a plain that is marked by some interesting crater impacts forming a sequence of ever diminishing diameters.
Images taken on 1st November 2014 in windy conditions but good seeing.

Venus arrived at its greatest angular distance east of the sun (46 degrees) on March 24th. The brilliant planet now swings as far to the east (left) of the sun as it will get from our Earthly viewpoint, continuing to wane in phase as well as slowly enlarging in size. In the nights that follow it will gradually become a fat crescent while growing ever larger as it swings around in its orbit closer to Earth.
