What's not to like about a frilly miniskirt and a breeze! No, that wasn't a question!

From my 2013 archives...

I'm showing off just how "mini" this frilly miniskirt really is!

This shiny wet look lycra spandex halter top & ruffled miniskirt (with matching thong) came from milanoo[dot]com.

I think the miniskirt has lots of possibilities playing mix'n match with some of my other shiny leotards! For this ensemble I've matched it up with my Hanes Alive pantyhose and my silver platform stocking boots with the 6" heels from electriqueboutique.com.

"Catching Fairies" by William Cory.

"They're sleeping beneath the roses;

Oh! kiss them before they rise,

And tickle their tiny noses,

And sprinkle the dew on their eyes.

Make haste, make haste;

The fairies are caught;

Make haste.

We'll put them in silver cages,

And send them full-drest to court,

And maids of honour and pages

Shall turn the poor things to sport."

Ghastly! Might as well pull their wings off like we sometimes did with fireflies, the closest thing to true fairies as we could get.

went this week to Cadogan Hall in London to see “Rumours of Fleetwood Mac" live and it was like a trip back in time, back to young and energetic band with signature tunes and legendary songs. Played live to modest audience of 950 these younger and rejuvenated version of old band left audience standing, dancing and asking for more of old magic. One great trip to old days I would recommend to “feel alike”.

Gratitude: Day 1/30

I can't think of a better way to kick off the 30 days of gratitude project than to say a huge heartfelt 'Thank You' to my friend Stephanie. She was one of my first contacts here on Flickr and I'm proud to call her my friend. She also wrote me my first testimonial a few days ago and her words brought a huge smile to my face - it was like catching some sunshine after a dreary day. If you don't know Stephanie then do yourself a favor and don't wait another second to visit her stream. She creates art and beauty with every shot she takes.

I am so excited for the movie premiere this FRIDAY

What is it about us photographers that immediately draws our attention to something like this, while others pass without taking any notice whatsoever?

Isn't it amazing all the things that now catch our eye?

This can catch even more of your eye if you care to press L.

Thanks.

It was in the upper 50's here while I was shooting some waves.. my feet & ankles got completely soaked and I was not wearing sandals, nor was I barefoot - I had on my heavy hiking shoes.. I didn't know Lake Michigan got waves like that. The ocean tides have surprised be quite a few times, but never the Lake.

Inspired by the third book in my favorite book series, Catching Moondrops by Jennifer Erin Valent. They house my favorite male fictional character ever, Luke Talley. If I could marry a fictional character, he'd be the one.

Catching a few breaks in Keoniloa Bay

There were a few people surfing at the surfing area on the beach one day when we went there, well to be honest they were learner surfers and were not catching to many waves, took a few shots but not really happy with them, this is probably the best one of the bunch

Got through my first day at the Orifice fine when it got hectic just closed my eyes and picturing being back at the beach, so I guess I could say I surfed through my first day back - LOL

Comments appreciated, Constructive critique even more appreciated, best way for me to learn

Abril 2009

Initially, I thought this bird had lost its grip and almost gone into the drink. Upon further reflection I think this was a planned maneuver to get increased extension by releasing the rearward leg and swinging out on the forward leg. Green Heron and menhaden on Horsepen Bayou.
