Not so easy with one arm

I love the beauty of the ocean with all the birds it has to offer in such a lovely setting. As I walked the beach at Moss Landing this Long-billed Curlew seemed to be 'catching a wave' as it flew by.

Yesterday was another very hot day, but as I walked through the gardens, the day lilies all seemed to have their 'faces' looking at the sun.

First time I managed to see the start (or the end) of a rainbow. No pot of gold though! Wish I had my camera with me but had to do with the mobile again. I guess the best camera is the one with you.

Catching a moment

Sunset Bench. La Jolla, CA

Not many lovely autumn leaves in the garden this year, most of them are already dry when they fall. Linus found one which still had some colour, though. I have posted far too many photos of Linus' face lately and thought that I should focus on the paw for a change. :)

This is easy to do. It's just a photo of my hand. The clouds, birds and light rays are Photoshop "brushes". It did take many attempts to get the combination of cloud brushes look good. The lightning was added by using a Photoshop filter. ("Alien Skin Xenofex 2" filter. )

Cider and Charlie enjoying what was hopefully the last snowfall of the season.

These two ladies had the beach to themselves......after I left. Southern Shores, NC on the Outer Banks. Have a great Sunday and thanks for the look.
