"Catching Snowflakes" by Pixie Lott

But our love was like catching a snowflake

As it reached our hands

It was already gone

This love was not ours to take

It was fated to break

Though it was beautiful

Hunting for a new place to dance in. Kwai and I are looking for a nice place to hang out between roughly 7 PM SLT and 10 PM SLT. I spend a lot of time at the Castle Ivana but it can be slow there at night. Kwai just likes to dance and chat with people.

Afternoon light catching bare tree branches at the Temple of Sinawava, shuttle stop #9 on the Zion National Park loop. I visited on a whim on the return leg of a road trip and it ended up being one of the most satisfying vacation days of my life, thanks to fresh eyes, Fall light, and mild temperature.

Everyone likes the early morning sunshine, including tiny garden orb web spiders. This one was enjoying a sheltered spot in a newly opened chicory flower. There's no doubt in my mind that chicory is my favourite meadow flower this summer. It is particularly desired by hoverflies and its stunning colour is somewhere between cornflower and azure blue. One plant provides a dazzling floral display which then becomes the most frequently visited corner of the garden by insects and early morning photographers.

Facing the sun to capture a darter and grass at the RSPB Lakenheath Fen reserve in Suffolk.

In the last few days some storms passed us here, but they continued to head northeast. In the night to Thursday, another thunderstorm rises and headed straight to us. Single exposure.

Another photo taken once I'd shot Seljalandsfoss from a distance and spotted the light show going on behind me. Decided to leave this one in colour as I slightly preferred the tones in this than in a mono version.

Eye catching features on The Chanonry, Old Aberdeen. These buildings are much more recent than the street itself, the name coming from the fact that it was once home to the canons (clergy) of St Machar’s Cathedral, which sits at the far end. The college of canons was incorporated as early as 1240, although canons may have lived here longer than that - the nearby church became a cathedral in the 1100s.

Both of us being so busy for the past two weeks we had some Greedy time to catch up!!

it's time for the gerbera and the sunset series again! this one caught my eye as the shapes seemed like the flower was literally catching the sun! either that or it was breathing fire! lol!
