These two squirrels frequent my yard and the other day were enjoying the sunshine. Although, it was not even 50 degrees they made the best of it especially after a few days of colder weather and rain.
They were sitting on branches of the dogwood tree right outside my window.

A cliché or cliche is an expression, idea, or element of an artistic work which has become overused to the point of losing its original meaning, or effect, and even, to the point of being trite or irritating, especially when at some earlier time it was considered meaningful or novel. (Wikipedia)

I knew this working was about to pass me by. so I did a detour to catch an image of it, with the original intention to go to Onibury Lane at Bromfield being unachievable before it passed. Fortunate that the light was pretty memorable. Bromfield signal box is just visible in the background.
This is the same Green Darner Dragonfly that is in my previous post. It was so big, and its wings gleamed so gold in the sun, that I did not have much difficulty tracking it when it flew to the leaf of a tree near the garden and rested there in the sunlight.
P.S. I forgot to mention that I made this capture with my 70-200mm lens and then cropped it, because no way would this lady let me get close enough with my macro lens.

The Owl and the Pussy-cat went to sea
In a beautiful pea-green boat,
And hand in hand, on the edge of the sand,
They danced by the light of the moon,

On our trip to the Grand Canyon back in 2018 there was one bird that appeared in great numbers, the Turkey Vulture. In an attempt to catch different light I recall that I made three visits to the canyon rim over a period of two days. On one there were dozens of these vultures seen riding the thermals seemingly gathering to roost. One such example is seen here catching a little late light.
This young Buzzard was catching earthworms today. Many people don't realise that earthworms form a large part of the diet of buzzards during the winter. Particularly young birds whose hunting skills may be a little lacking
Alternatively I could have called this "How Tides Really Work". On every beach around the world there are a couple of guys reeling in the next bunch of waves.
Actually no, that's just being silly. You'd need at least 3 guys.
