Colour version of 1772-5 awaiting departure time from Cranzahl

Here I liked the way the low light was hitting the green mounds, and there was a pleasant, straightforward path cutting through it as trees caught some of the clouds wisping by.

The Knole House estates are a mix of walking areas and woodland, and there are some golf greens in between. Looking at the flatness and greenness of it, it seems pretty obvious why. (Well, it's probably the money too).

Anvilcloud and I hopped in the van made a rush to the old fire station to catch some of the light from this sunset unencumbered by hills and power lines. A photo he captured that evening may be seen here.

Couldn't sleep several nights ago and was up until the early hours. I went out on the deck and looked up at the soft lavender sky - it looked like the tree was trying to grab the moon! Wish I had had a bigger lens on the camera!

Fantails are nealry impossible to shoot in flight as they change direction several times every second it seems. They have to be manouvreable to catch their food which can also move quickly. I've cropped this in so you can see the tiny fly it is after and will take in mid-air.

We have been away overnight and this is my favourite shot from the trip.

We looked for accommodation on the west side of Guadeloupe, for sunsets! The first night I was a bit disappointed when I saw some clouds on the horizon. Until they started breaking the light in this spectacular spectrum! I thought a local fisherman and his friend made for the perfect foreground.
