I liked the La's but for some reason didn't go when they played Cardiff (Milltown Brothers as support?) in 1991.
This was a good night though Mrs RPM was flagging badly by the end as it was only a few days after the birth of our first child.

Sometimes when I only have my phone, things catch my attention but are not necessarily lovely or a regular photop,
Three abandoned cans of Stella and a cup against a grill but there was something in the composition, the studs above each and the light on the grill. Nothing was moved or adjusted to keep with the pure “Objet Trouvé” Duchamp ethos.
It won’t bother the Pulitzer but I couldn’t walk past it.

standing near the waters edge on this downed tree I waited awhile for an eagle, or a hawk, or anything notable to capture with my camera,...nothing..so I looked down and saw my shadow running the length of the tree instead.
Two part mold for making wax casts. Molten was is poured into the hole on the end of the mold (see next photo).

Made this in Metal Shop class in High School, made of solid aluminum. I love the effect the X-rays give it, revealing the thickness at any point.

The various flows of the Lava Cast Forest were all erupted from the Northwest Rift Zone of Newberry Volcano."

The trail loops through an area where hot molten lava erupted from the northwest flank of Newberry Volcano and engulfed a forest here 7,000 years ago. The landscape now includes the "casts" or molds, of these ancient trees. Colonizing plants, such as delicate penstemon flowers and Indian paintbrush, have taken root in the rocky soil. Ponderosa pine trees have re-established themselves and flourished as well, so that the landscape now includes a blend of the past and the present."

blue tape (like a cast covering) on top, white tape on the bottom, and he's opened it up a little bit so that I can see the blue-backed white foam now. Here on day three, he hasn't had an incidents of acute pain. I've also learned how to pick him up (upper body only) and how to put him down (front paws first).
