The lighthouse Kaiserschleuse (also called Pingelturm) stands east of the pier to the entrance of the Kaiserhafen in Bremerhaven. The Kaiserschleuse East Light, which is still in operation, was planned in 1900 by the port director Rudolf Rudloff and is the northernmost lighthouse in the maritime city. The height of the structure is 15 m, the height of the beacon is 10 m. The lighthouse carries a fog bell, which is still in operation.

"These mountains that you are carrying,

you were only supposed to climb." —Najwa Zebian

Ever since I came across this quote I've been determined to do something with mountains and well I just did a quick edit on my phone with an app and well this came out.

Don't worry, everyone will be loving Corona again when the summer returns.

19th Century Steam Locomotive in portuguese Railway Museum at Entroncamento, Portugal

.............................................................................................................

A steam locomotive is a locomotive powered by steam. The term usually refers to its use on railways, but can also refer to a "road locomotive" such as a traction engine or steamroller.

Beginning in Britain, steam locomotives dominated railway usage from the start of the 19th century, until the middle of the 20th Century. They were gradually improved and developed in their over 150 years of development and use. Starting in about 1930 other types of engines were developed and steam locomotives were gradually superseded by diesel and electric locomotives.

NASA’s Operation IceBridge, an airborne survey of polar ice, recently finalized two overlapping campaigns at both of Earth’s poles. Down south, the mission observed a big drop in the height of two glaciers situated in the Antarctic Peninsula, while in the north it collected much needed measurements of the status of land and sea ice at the end of the Arctic summer melt season.

This was the first time in its seven years of operations that IceBridge carried out parallel flights in the Arctic and Antarctic. Every year, the mission flies to the Arctic in the spring and to Antarctica in the fall to keep collect an uninterrupted record of yearly changes in the height of polar ice.
