Die "Cap Sizun" ist ein Sloup Langoustier, ein Nachbau eines Langustenfangschiffes von 1990-91. Sie dient als Museumsschiff und repräsentiert die Stadt Audierne. Sie segelt mit Chartergästen an der bretonischen Küste entlang und nimmt an Seglerveranstaltungen wie in Brest und Douarnenez teil. Leider habe ich noch immer keinen Törn mit ihr gemacht...aber beim nächsten Besuch!
The "Cap Sizun" is a Sloup Langoustier, a replica of a lobster fishing vessel built in 1990-91. It serves as a museum ship and represents the city of Audierne. She sails with charter guests on the Brittany coast and takes part in sailing events in Brest and Douarnenez. Unfortunately I still have not made a trip with her ... but the next visit will come!

A bird almost universally considered “cute” thanks to its oversized round head, tiny body, and curiosity about everything, including humans. The chickadee’s black cap and bib; white cheeks; gray back, wings, and tail; and whitish underside with buffy sides are distinctive. Its habit of investigating people and everything else in its home territory, and quickness to discover bird feeders, make it one of the first birds most people learn.

People who know more than I do about snowflakes say that these capped columns are the beginnings of the fabulous large dendrite snowflakes that everyone likes. Whenever I see these that's all that I see. For about an hour these or clumps of these were all that was falling. These four are fairly representative of what I was seeing. For the most part I rarely bother to try to take pictures of them anymore. By the way, these are small - 1mm or less in size.

- Viburnum tinus 'Lisa Rose'
Viburnum tinus ‘Lisa Rose’ is a neat little cultivar with carmine buds opening to pink-tinged flowers. Grows to 6-10ft, spreads to 6-8ft. Best from October – March.
The pink buds open to become clusters of white flowers. Set against the shrub’s dark, evergreen foliage, they insulate their joyful glow into the darkest time of the year. In the sunshine or shade, exposed to salt air, or the poorest of chalky soils, the shrub looks cheerful in all seasons.

De Viburnum tinus 'Lisa Rose' is een schitterende groenblijvende plant die in de wintermaanden bloeit. Al in augustus zijn de bloemknoppen zichtbaar. Uit donkerrose knoppen komen witte bloempjes vanaf oktober tot ver in april. Na de bloei vormen zich vele blauwe bessen. De Viburnum tinus 'Lisa Rose' staat graag op een lichte plaats, maar kan ook in de schaduw. De hoogte wordt ongeveer 125cm.
Ce site naturel et protégé abrite une diversité de milieux littoraux où une faune et une flore originales et spécifiques y naissent, vivent et se développent : salicorne, chardon, bruyère, ajonc… Le rocher (forme de tour penchée) en bas du Cap est une partie de la réserve ornithologique de la Fauconnière, deuxième réserve des Côtes d’Armor après les Sept-Îles, où nichent des centaines d’oiseaux comme le goëland argenté, le Fulmar Boréal, le Guillemot, les Cormorans huppés ou encore les pingouins torda.
