Environmental Load Carrying Capacity

Any region has limited resources and its load carrying capacity depends on its ability to support existing population without tripping over the environmental limits. A defined strategy is required for a region to utilize existing resources in sync with its capacity to carry pollution load in future.

We at EMERGY formulate a systematic and comprehensive approach, which integrates all components of environment including air, water, soil, noise, land and biological flora and fauna, to establish the existing environmental quality of a region. Mathematical models are used to predict the impacts of the existing and future developmental scenarios and accordingly environmental management plan is formulated for sustainable future development.

Capacity development 1.3

The overall objective of this course was to train civil society practitioners in research and documentation skills, communicating evidence-based research, research methodologies and field research techniques amongst others. In attendance were CVE researchers from the Countering Violent Extremism Research Hub network.

The workshop was organized by the Centre for Human Rights and Policy Studies (CHRIPS), the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), university of Sussex and supported by the Newton-Utafiti fund. August, 2018 (Photo credit: CHRIPS)

1000 Litre Nominal Capacity GRP One Piece Insulated Chemical and Hot Water Tank

Hot Water Tank Manufactured to BS EN 13280, made from Approved Materials,

Internal Dimensions (L x W x H): 1000 x 1000 x 1000mm

External Dimensions (L x W x H): 1170 x 1170 x 1100mm

Manufactured with GRP Resins that are designed to withstand water temperatures up to 120 Degrees C, and suitable for Storage of most Chemical Solutions.

The tank has Insulation encapsulated into the tank walls and Lid with various insulation thickness, as a result the external finish is cleaner and the thermal value can be designed to suit the needs of the customer, from keeping a solution at a lower temperature or providing sufficient insulation for thermal stores etc.

Supplied with a Flange around the top of the tank with a Lid Sealer running around the top In addition to An Insulated Bolted Lid ensuring the prevention of light into the tank and moreover the ingress of debris and Insects.

For more information on Chemical Storage Regulations please Click Here

In March 2019, PHB conducted the ITOCA assessment to as-sess capacity gaps at NCHP. In response to assessment find-ings, PHB organized a three-day Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) training on Kobo Toolbox: A Mobile Data Col-lection & Reporting Tool. The training included 22 NCHP partici-pants, and focused on improving their capacities in data collec-tion, management, and analysis to contribute to strengthened systems for ensuring quality of ongoing monitoring activities. The NCHP participants left the training with an understanding of how to design data forms, analyze and collect data electronical-ly as well as to create summary reports with graphs and tables. The post-training evaluation results showed that the participants felt strongly that the training was both relevant and useful to their work and will help in strengthening NCHP’s monitoring systems going forward.
