C. virgo è una specie europea con i limiti della sua distribuzione nel nord della Finlandia e nel sud dell’Italia continentale. In Italia la specie è comune sopratutto nelle zone di bassa montagna, fino a 800 m di quota. E’ conosciuta di tutte le regioni con l’eccezione della Valle di Aosta e Puglia. Per la Sicilia e Sardegna esistono solo antiche e dubbie segnalazioni.
I found this beautiful little church while exploring some of the back roads of northern Vermont. The trip in was on dirt roads, and I later found out that all the roads in this town are unpaved.
The church is facing in a good direction for a Milky Way photo, so I'm sure I'll be back.

This image was a result of a steep descent which landed atop the Upper Yellowstone Falls. The hike was an approximate 6-8 tenths of a mile with a change in elevation of 600 ft. When I finished photographing the Canyon, it was all up hill😳 The mist you see in the foreground, is from the Falls.

Here a Spotted Nutcracker (Nucifraga caryocatactes) heavily underexposed. The light coming nicely through its beak and a few of it feathers, but giving the Nutcracker no identity. Happy Days.
This is the lower section of Sabbaday Falls, accessed from the Sabbaday Brook Trail in the White Mountain National Forest of New Hampshire.

the beautiful Upper Antelope Canyon in Page Arizona. What a wonderful place have been wanting to go for a very long time. Wonderful!
Fresh snow always looks so beautiful, and we got 8-12 inches up through last night in most of New Hampshire and Vermont, so my dog Casey and I headed out to the Sleepy Hollow Farm in the town of South Pomfret, Vermont. Pomfret borders the town of Woodstock, and this whole area is one of the prettiest in Vermont. The 115 acre farm was purchased by Aerosmith lead guitarist Joe Perry in 2005, where he raised Friesian horses. He sold the farm in 2015.

A young Red-throated Diver (Gavia stellata) stretching and drying it’s beautiful wings. The parents were not feeding that much anymore and luring the chicks to visit a lake nearby with lots and lots of fish. The chicks were practicing taking off continuously which provided me with lots of photographic opportunities. Taken in the Nuuksio National Park, a 20 minutes drive from where I live. Happy Days.

Dog Mountain, located on a mountaintop in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, is a 150-acre site dedicated to dogs and their owners. It features many hiking trails, several ponds, a dog chapel, and an art/gift gallery.
I thought the clouds were interesting, filling most of the sky in the direction of the photo. I've only seen this type a few times. From looking at charts, I believe they are Cirrocumulus clouds.

It's been snowing for two days and it's beautiful outside, so I headed out to Danville, Vermont to get this photo of a red barn in the snowstorm.
