After the BMT Reunion we took Kent and his family to Hollywood and treated them to an All-American dinner at a Steak'n'Chop house.
This last weekend was the American Cancer Society Relay For Life In West Clark County, WA. It was an amazing event with a wonderful turnout.
As a cancer survivor this event touches me tremendously! Such a wonderful group of organizers, team captains and wonderful participants. We all agree, cancer sucks and we want to do what we can to help eliminate it from our world!

Viz volunteered at nearly all of my marrow drives. His wife Syl is also a cancer survivor. He is also a committed long-time volunteer at City of Hope. The world is a better place because of him.
The guy in the hat is Bill Matteson. We went through our BMTs together at the same time back in 2003. (It was my first BMT before relapsing and having to endure this second BMT.) Bill is a dear friend, a great writer and an inspiration. We call each other "BMT Brothers".
