This pass, the last of four, was right over our house near Metrotown in Burnaby, probably for the closing ceremonies of the World Police and Fire Games (or the Burnaby Blues and Roots Festival -- both events are nearby).
You can almost read the markings on the planes, despite the fading light (it was around 8 p.m.) and the blur from speed. I enhanced this image a bit to bring out the colour of the planes: they were pretty close to silhouettes in reality.
Parked at the Shell FBO itinerant parking are these Harvard II (Texan) trainers on a weekender from their Moose Jaw base. The nearest was the first of type seen, at Regina/SK back in 2000.
The Snowbirds are Canada's aerobatics air show flight demonstration team under the Canadian Forces. As a regular feature of Canada Day in the capital, they do a fly past over the Parliament Buildings.

On August 27, 2018 Latvian Land Forces Mechanized Infantry brigade, National Guard 1st Riga brigade and Canadien led eFP battlegroup Latvia personnel conducted delay and defence operations in Vecumnieki region, Latvia during military exercise āNamejs 2018ā. The opposing force was soldiers from Polish Armed Forces and Czech Armed Forces.

Capt. Lorraine vanderKamp, from CFB Trenton's Mobile Air Movement section, led the team of 18 that built all the palettes of material in the hangar 10 at US Air Force base Thule, Greenland, where the Canadian Forces have set up their headquarters for the first leg of this year's BOXTOP Op at Canadian Forces Station (CFS) Alert in the Arctic.
CFB Trenton personnel (18 from Mobile Air Movement Section) coordinated the re-supply operation BOXTOP, for Canadian Forces Station (CFS) Alert, from the US Air Force base Thule, in Greenland.

This Canadian Forces Search And Rescue helicopter left the Coastguad station on the Cobourg peer and flew right over the beach. The guy in the back is leaning out waving back at the people on the beach...
This SAR Helicopter is out of the Transport and Rescue Squadron #424 from the Canadian Forces Base in Trenton.
