Shot on manual on a 0.8 sec exposure,f5.6 ISO 100,2 sec timer and macro in a lightbox,using Fujichrome,1 lamp to the left,no adjustment to exposure or highlight but a tweak on contrast to help bring out the texture of the flower.

When I started I thought I was going to paint white flowers...
But while I gazed the calyxes of these graceful callas, at a certain point I began to see colored shadows and unexpected shades in their white...
In the white callas I found
a pure cobalt blue
an orange pink
an iridescent gray
a greenish ochre
a merely hinted mauve...
